I thought the weirdo from the Lincoln commercials would be funny to listen to and might even have some wisdom to share, but not so much. It was entertaining the way a car crash is.
This book seems like a preëmptive airing of dirty laundry from someone intending to run for public office, like Governor of Texas. He's trying to twist positive stories out of his inebriated incivility, his ignorance and arrogance, his dishonesty, his violent and criminal family background, his wet dream visions, etc. ...more

I enjoy celebrity memoirs, and this one delivers. I listened to the audiobook, and highly recommend reading this book that way so you get to hear his unmistakable voice. I also bought a hardcover just to see parts and pics. I’m only giving 3 stars because of his hippy dippy preachiness throughout, and don’t get me wrong, I can handle that but this was super in your face. Made me roll my eyes a bit.
