This book is incredibly relevant to the conversations and protests occurring today regarding systemic racism, the violence committed against blacks for years, and the mass incarceration of black men.
For a short book, there were a lot of issues touched upon and to digest quickly. It is a book that I suspect will stay with me in the days after I finished it. There was so much that I am not even sure how to approach a rating right now.
