Quite easily the weakest take on historical fiction I've ever read.
• How difficult is it to google some Lithuanian surnames and simply use them for your characters? Apparently, very much. Instead, we have a bald man called Mr Stalas. *The View by Metallica & Lou Reed starts playing in the background* Throughout the whole book I waited for the moment when Mr Stalas would sit at the table, too bad - there were none around.
