What Members Thought
I know this is a classic, but I'm not thrilled with it. Not sure if it hasn't aged well (it's very male, with the few women reduced to witchy crones or breeding stock) or if I'm just not paying enough attention while reading (the only mention I remember of why the spice is so important is a reference to its use by space navigators... in the last 10-20 pages of the book. 450+ pages is a long time to go without knowing what's driving the action!). I can see how people would want it as a movie, tho
