Listened to this on CD. Wonder if that's what made me turn up my nose. Cassie was either whining, saying everything with an exclamation point, or threatening to hurt someone--"if you don't . . . I'm going to punch you"--etc. Hard to believe she was 16 when it was read with the voice of a 12 year old.

Much to be disbelieved i.e. Ben being able to carry 5 yr old Sam even though he'd recently been shot. The sniper being able to turn all his training over for the love of Cassie. Cassie being complet ...more

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I got it on a daily deal and I had heard about it so I thought why not? I really liked it. The alien story felt a little like The Host's story but not two people living in the same body. But loved the main characters and their stories. Can't wait to read the next books in the series. ...more
