Shelves: young-adult, urban-fantasy, fantasy, fae, misc-supernaturals

This second book was much better than the first, more going on at any one time, more twists, and Jeb may be getting more interesting. I liked seeing the relationships change and grow in this book, Alyssa's mother becomes all kinds of interesting in this installment and it's definitely not all good. Jeb still bugs me, but I can see him hopefully slowly grasping that you can't win the girl just by beating the other guy to a pulp. While I did not read Splintered, I thought the sequel, Unhinged, could possibly stand alone. Alyssa is trying hard to live the normal human life and resist the temptation and the call of her netherling half and succumb to the madness that is the modern day Wonderland. Morpheus, through trickery and cunning, shows Alyssa what it is she is meant to be. Alas, like every other trilogy, this too has a love triangle.
