I LOVED this book! The relationship between Anna and St. Clair is a total roller coaster ride throughout the book. I laughed, I cried, I laughed some more. I loved the chemistry between the main characters and their developing friendship throughout the book. I also liked how Anna grew more sure of herself as the book went on. I wasn't expecting some of the twists and turns (Bridge for one), but I was impressed with how Anna dealt with that and the other stuff that happened as she matured through

I really just want to KEYSMASH my feelings on this book. I cannot even begin to express my love for it. It was PERFECT. And St. Clair, OH, St. Clair....WHERE ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU NOT IN MY LIFE!?
I heard excellent things about this, and my expectations were quite high for this, and I was NOT proven wrong. It actually exceeded my expectations. The writing, the characters, the emotions, it was all there. And it was perfect. Stephanie Perkins is a fantastic writer. She has a great career, and lot ...more

Anna is uprooted from her life in Atlanta, Georgia and deposited at the School of America in Paris. She's incredibly upset at first, but makes friends with the girl across the hall from her, Meredith, who introduces Anna to her group of friends. There Meredith, Rashimi, Josh, Ellie (who graduated last year and is at Parson's Paris for photography) and then Etienne St. Clair who gorgeous and is of course, dating Ellie. Anna crushes on Etienne hard, (view spoiler)

This book is adorable! While my main faults were small, the good of this book far outweighs the minor nitpicking. My faults were things such Anna's reaction to the early fall weather in Paris (um, you're from ATLANTA?!), and the fact that a Southerner would not call sneakers anything but tennis shoes. Also, her mom was somehow okay with her dad shipping her off to boarding school in France? WTF?! But, that's about the extent of my faults. The rest I loved! Anna was realistic as a scared and home
