After 400 pages, I still have no idea what is going on with Mara Dyer. The second book in the series is an Addicted to YA Book of the Month for March 2014, so hopefully I will find out more in the next...
Is it just my choices in YA lit, or is there a distinct rise in the number of "mad girl" books? They're all crazy or think they are crazy (I'm looking at you Mara Dyer, Splintered, Alice in Zombieland, and Fallen).

Hmmmmm. This was very........ Interesting. Reminded me a lot of Shutter Island. I didn't love it, but my interest is piqued enough that I'll read book 2.
