I was rather disappointed by this book. I just felt like she took up an entire book that could have been contained in a few chapters at the end of the last book or at the beginning of the next one. The same things were portrayed over and over without Luce really learning anything (except that Daniel loves her, which we all already know so nothing new there). I understand why she might have chosen to do this, but I was ready for things to move on and they don't until the very end. Of course it di ...more

I still really like this story line. Interesting addition of Satan in this book. "Throughout their past lives, Luce and Daniel have always been separated by Luce's death. Luce decides to find a way to end this cycle and so travels back in time to witness their romances firsthand. Daniel, however, is terrified that her actions could change history for the worse and prevent them from ever meeting in the first place." ...more

Repetitive for sure. But each flashback has its good moments i suppose. It is a bit draggy though, by the end the fourth book plot sounds good, more action hopefully
