I finished Cress last night and I am rating it 4.5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

It started out strong but I struggled towards the middle of the book - I was terrified for several characters and I couldn’t wait to listen to all 15 hours of the audiobook to find out what happened, so I switched to my ebook copy and was a much a much happier camper!

Can I give this book six stars? Seven? I love the Lunar Chronicles series. A cross between Star Wars and Once Upon a Time, the perfect blend of science fiction, space opera, fairy tale and fantasy. This book is my favorite installment of the series so far. Rapunzel is a computer hacker, adrift in a satellite circling the earth and the prince comes to rescue her in a space shuttle. Love this series. Cress is stuck in a satellite by an evil Thermator. She is rescued by Cinder Scarlett & co. & they set out to stop the evil Lunar queen (whose goal is to take over the world) from marrying Kai, Emperor of the world.

Leaves you hanging for yet another book in the series.

Another amazing read! Cress is quite possibly my favorite book in the Lunar Chronicles series. I've grown so attached to the characters, and their journeys that I am a little hesitant to begin reading Winter. Not because I fear it being a bad book, but because I I don't want the series to end. But I'm also eagerly awaiting starting the final chapter of this brilliant series.
