Wow! There are so many things going through my head! I adored this conclusion to the series. I'm really going to miss the gang and their adventures. Cress and Thorne are so precious and adorable, and Scarlet and Wolf are my sweet babies. And I've loved Cinder's character from the get-go and her relationship with Kai was so great to watch unfold. I am sad to see this series come to an end. I will admit that I was very leery of this series, especially after reading Cinder and absolutely hating it (but then miraculously fell in love with Scarlet - thank God!). However, now that the "Ever after" is upon me I just want to cry, and sob, and cry some more.

I always go into the finale of a series prepared to feel some disappointment. I don't know why, except it seems whenever I jump in with too much enthusiasm I am left in utter disappointment. I have read a handful of series that started out great, only to utterly disappoint me with an ending I just couldn't get behind. The worst make me wonder if I wasted my time completely by continuing on with the story.
