“We’re having another moment, aren’t we?”
“If by a moment, you mean me not wanting to strangle you for the first time since we met, then I guess we are.”
Again, this was absolutely amazing! Action-packed, soooo funny (Thorne and Cinder’s banter and witty comebacks are the best, seriously, I didn’t remember how much I loved their interactions) and even swoon worthy (Scarlet&Wolf ♡). Cress is already waiting for me :D

The Plot: I finally finished! I'll try for no spoilers, at least for people who have read Cinder. In the second installment of the Lunar Chronicles, the main character isn't Cinder, which was disappointing at first, but it's all good because the third person POV switched to her pretty often. The plot basically centers on Cinder's struggle to come to terms with her true identity and how Scarlet and her grandmother have a part in Cinder's wh ...more

So, while this one was a little slower than the first book, once it got started, it was really good and super hard to put down. The last one hundred pages were definitely intense!
I really, really, really liked this! Scarlet and Wolf are great characters! Scarlet easily held her own and was very brave and resourceful. Wolf's more quiet and reserved character was a good match for her and I liked them together a lot. Their romance was very sweet. And Meyer very successfully and skillfully wove in all the elements of Little Red Riding Hood. We learn yet more about Cinder and her abilities and she continues to grow and get more intriguing as a character. We learn more about L

These are the funnest books! I'm totally in love with this series. Marissa Meyer has taken fairy tales and completely blown them out of the water with originality. I can't wait to what's next in Cress!
