A fun futuristic retelling of Cinderella. Nothing surprising here, but I like the world building.

The book's first couple of chapters start off really sci-fi(y). I couldn't figure out what Cinder was, but the sci-fi stuff gets less sci-fi after a couple chapters or you just get used to it. I read it with my mom and she said it was a mix of the Hunger Games, Cinderella and Minority Report. It's a cute story, that is predictable but a fun dystopia Cinderella read. ...more
