I was very pleasantly surprised by this book, in a good way, and I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. I wasn't even going to pick this up when I saw it on the shelf of my library, but I know people on this site as well as youtube say that this book was really good and worth reading so I decided to pick it up and give it a try. Glad I did.

This book was a great set up book for the series. It tells the hows and whys of the home and the characters. It was a little slow but then it sped up and took hold and it became the wild ride I was waiting for to read.
