Partially interesting, partially drab, with some really great tidbits and moments.

But with a terrible ending, in my opinion.

Listened to the audio. I rolled my eyes a couple of times at the ridiculous tropes this book fell prey to. Entertaining, but not something I would read again.

I really enjoyed this one. Our main character wasn't my favorite, the angry teenage boy isn't someone I identify well with. Once we met the peculiars though, I was quite a fan. It wasn't quite like anything I've read before. I'm curious to see how it all plays out, I will continue with the series. ...more
