Three stars for the story, one star for the presentation.

I don't think this book would have been anything special without the beautiful and creepy pictures. Expected a tiny bit more, but it was very enjoyable and I'm gonna order Book 2 RIGHT NOW!!!

Read after seeing the movie, which might make this review biased. It was somewhat slow paced and without much action. Jacob could be a much more interesting character. Too many differences in the movie adaption, and not all for the best. Will continue to the next book.

Note: if you just saw the movie and want to continue the story, you will have to read the first book, there are enough differences to make me feel you can't go straight to book 2.
