First off, I hated Sam in this installment. But I LOVED Cole! Grace...meh. Isabel I like. This book seems like it is the standard slightly boring, setting up for the next book, "middle book syndrome." This book was much more boring than the first, which I find is typical with second-in-the-series books, hence the "middle book syndrome." Just put the last book in the series on hold at the library. Will be talking these up at school to those who can still stomach the paranormal romance! Ha. ...more

The wolves don't feel like the typical werewolf, and I love that the wolves can be explained through science rather than magic. ...more

This was really slow for me for about 2/3 of the book, which is why it took me so long to finish it. There just wasn't the same building climax as the first book. I still enjoyed the story. Note: There is some suggestive content. ...more
