What Members Thought
Meh. That's my main thought. This could have been great but then it just wasn't. Elspeth was just so stupid and made so many stupid choices. Ravyn was such a stereotype, as were the princes. I just- there were so many tropes and nothing surprised me. At all. I feel like I had read all this before. It started strong but I lost more interest the further I got, and the last 100 pages, in the real climax, I was already so bored. I also don't love the magic system, either of them.
