This book is good!
It features a heroine that is sassy yet completely bad a.s.s! On top of all that she enjoys reading as well. There's also characters like the Crown Prince and the King's Guard which make the trio with the heroine an insteresting unusual relationship (Assasin-Prince-Guard) even without the romance, which is what I enjoy best.
I can't stand annoying love triangles.

I now get the hype on this one. This book was super fast paced and extremely easy to devour. Celeana is a real warrior. I like her because she's definitely able to kill you but she also has a very soft side that's like any other female. She doesn't have to be this rough and tough character in order to prove her point. I love the friendships formed in this book as well and I didn't mind the romance that of course had to be inserted otherwise this wouldn't be YA Fantasy. My only disappointment was

More of a 3.5 but I decided to round up. It took me a bit to get into the character of Celaena, but once the story got started I was hooked. I don't think it's the most original story, but it's well written, and the mystery element is well done. The plot moved smoothly, allowing the characters to develop and grow, making me more attached to them.
