Well, the best thing about this book is that It’s finally done.

It’s bad. It has a few ok moments, but in its entirety it’s really bad.

And I have not read Res Queen. I had plans for it, and it upsets me that apparently now I know the whole plot. I possibly would have enjoyed it, if it was better written.

I would like to say that I was really exited to read this, I get exited every time there is a mention of Hunger games, and I get disappointed over and over(thought Lighlark was better than this) ...more

AMAZING!!! I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book because of the trials and how they are similar to The Hunger Games. The trials are a fight to the death but they are so much different then The Hunger Games and I was happy to read that. I love The Hunger Games I just didn't want the same.

I loved Kai and Paedyn so much and I even liked Kitt. There was just something special with the relationship between Kai and Pae I liked more. I loved the magic system of the Elites and how Kai can pull ...more

this book at first felt too generic and while it wasn't horrible it was also a bit tedious to get through and did not seem original enough. I've read so many stories and books like this and the bantering was starting to get a bit annoying .

30 percent in I was already hoping for the end - ironically the ending was the only part I really liked and wanted to continue for.

A lot of improvements could have been made with pacing and story lines percent and a younger me getting into YA would 've have ...more
