The trees were full of crows and the woods were full of madmen. The pit was full of bones and her hands were full of wires.

Nettle & Bone has to be one of the few books in the last year that I have come across that felt original, horrifyingly beautiful, and creative. This book felt like it was so close to a perfect book for me, but it fell short. I love dark fairytale-esque books. I love books about sisters and curses and weird magic, and this has all of it.
