Reread- just as good the second time around. There is something about the writing that calms a part of my heart and makes me breath. It is so beautiful.

This series makes me so happy. It fills a hole created in the midst of all the YA fantasy. It is clever and sad and sweet. I will never stop loving the relationship between the sibling characters. I adore Vasya, and now Marya. I appreciate that this really delves into the relationship between siblings and family and focuses on that rather than r ...more

4/30/20 - This is taking me forever to get through and it is NOT the book's fault but mine. I just can't seem to concentrate on anything right now. I think that is many people's problems. But I will persevere because when I do pick it up I enjoy it.
