As with most others—liked the story, disliked the love interest.

Had the benefit of being able to read all three of the books right after each other. It's been a while since I read so much in a short span of time. This trilogy was very readable for me though—nothing truly frightening or suspenseful, which was good for me, but I can see how it took away at bit from the mystery. ...more

I very much liked how this was all wrapped up and while I thought I knew who did it, I was surprised by many of the elements. Stevie is a fun character and the others that Johnson put into the series are fleshed out pretty well too. A series I will be recommending to my students.
