This cute YA romance is sweet, innocent, and a book that you can hand to a middle schooler without worries. :) I have enjoyed all of Sandhya Menon's books I've read so far. I was a little disappointed that this one didn't have as much of the author's culture in it that I've seen in others of her novels. I like the journaling concept, but the time and place of journaling felt a little off.

Overall I really enjoyed this story. I LOVE Sahil's character! :) It's not my favorite of the author's books ...more

Shelves: own, contemporary, read-2022

Contemporary really isn’t my jam, but every now and then I crave a little laid back romance or slice-of-life story. This was cute. I preferred it to ‘Dimple’, which I read quite some time ago. Parts of this were a little cringe-y and read a bit young, but this was a sweet story for the most part. I found Twinkle to be relatable, and I enjoyed her friendship with Victoria. I actually wish a little more time was spent on that relationship. Overall, it was enjoyable.

I finished From Twinkle, With Love and let me say I was annoyed with her for most of the book but I enjoyed it. Sahil was just an amazing character. I liked how everything ended.
