I’m inclined towards 2.5 stars for a book that only managed to reinforce my belief that this series is no more for me.

A Court of Frost and Starlight (or, ACOFAS) seemed like SJM's final, desperate attempt to showcase again that Rhys and Feyre's relationship is the best, the best, AH, and the best.

I love how SJM portrays real life in her epic fantasies. Simple acts like celebrating birthdays or shopping for holiday presents. This was a cute novella and made me grin more than once. I love these characters and this world. It was a good holiday read!

I knew going into this one that it was meant to just be a bridge leading to A Court of Silver Flames. It was a fast read that I actually really enjoyed, in its own way. There was no plot, just a lot of character development, including multiple POVs—some that we haven’t had before. I enjoyed getting to experience this world through those characters’ eyes, and I’m really intrigued about what happens next with some of their stories.
