What Members Thought

This book is about suicide. For those who don't have a close, personal experience with this, this may seem like a horrible downer of a book. However being a "survivor of suicide" as this book terms it, I wish suicide and mental illnesses weren't such a taboo topic. I've now read a couple books that have mentioned characters going to support groups for it. However I've never once heard of one of these groups in real life. Welp anyways the narration was amazing and my heart is broken. The author’s narration at the end had me almost in tears.
Can’t wait to see how horrible the Netflix adaptation is.
(It already is enormously worse than the book just fyi to everyone. Book always wins over movie!)

I'm not even sure if this book was well written or even had an incredible plot but it hit a nerve because of personal circumstances and made me sob in the early hours of the morning, so. An important story that needs to be told tbh.

DNF around page 100. I wasn't really feeling the believability of the main guy. I just really didn't care for him.

A beautiful and tragic story. I loved and hated it at the same time. It's one I can see myself reading again.
