I read this in 2011, and just reread the first book. It takes a little bit to get used to the writing style and the manner of speaking, but this is a great series. Language could be better. 8/29/15

This is the most heartbreaking book I've read in a long long time. It broke me and then it broke me again. I cried through the last quarter of the book. Can't believe I waited almost 5 years to read this!!!

Also, this might be marketed as a kid's book but its waaay to dark for small kids. ...more
