THE SIEGE OF MACINDAW is my least favorite in THE RANGER'S APPRENTICE series.
I found the second part of this story line to be very predictable, which lead to being boring more than halfway through. But there is enough of what made RANGER'S APPRENTICE previous five installments terrific reads to be found here-strong and likable characters and hiss-able villains. Here's hoping things pick up in the seventh book. ...more
