At the end, there were tears ... and I cannot remember the last time I cried ... while finishing a book ... Ove touched my heart , much more than I expected.
I've been wanting to try more books by Fredrik Backman ever since I've read and adored Anxious People, and I'm so glad I finally did.
This book was a heartwarming story, which perfectly balanced extremely funny parts with deeper, even tragic scenes.
I fell in love with Ove from the start, and the whole cast of characters was fantastic. I enjoyed the parts set in the past and those set in the present equally, although I had a soft spot for Ove's wife Sonja, who was without a doubt one of my favour ...more
