Various thoughts:
* Is it sci fi? - Meh. I'm kinda over this question. St. John Mandel says it isn't. I'm inclined to categorize it that way in my brain - it's a pandemic with thoughts of "what does the future hold?" But I think getting stuck on this question limits discussion of the book.
