One is right to interpret that the book is the perfect blend of Cynicism, Skepticism and Individualism. I feel I was too late to read this piece of literature, that somehow is overhyped at times, and perfectly dealt at others.
What a masterpiece!!!
one of the greatest novels in the history of literature. Oscar Wilde wrote it beautifully and wisely, his sentences were nicely constructed and beautifully written.
on the first few pages I was grabbed by the conversation between Lord Henry and Dorian. Lord Henry was a good example of how people can be manipulative!!
also, the way Basil talked to Dorian was a little weird. guys don't use these kind of sentimental words now days however I was not surprised when I knew that Os ...more
