Well this book wastes no time and just jumps straight into the action! Paul has to be the most accepting mortal ever for not being able to see through the mists. The gods drove me about nuts and just when I had hope for Clarisse she lets me down. Nico is probably my favorite character. I still want to learn how he learned so much! The ending was a bit lack-luster but acceptable. It just all felt a bit rushed for the last 70 pages and things could have been a bit better explained. Still, lots of

I'm still arguing with myself about whether this one or The Battle Of The Labyrinth is my favorite. . .Maybe both! But, I kept saying to myself "Finally!" because Annabeth & Percy were almost a couple(yes, I'm also a romance-a-holic). I really hope to read some more of Riordan's work.
