What Members Thought
I like this book, being very fun and readable with a great journey across America. Most of all a great idea. On the other hand certain parts was too much like Harry Potter.
I found it interesting. It's easy reading, and a twist on Greek Mythology. It has the standard boy-discovered-that-he-is-"special" type of book. Harry Potter, Richard Rahl (Sword of Truth), Frodo, etc etc. If you like these type of stories, then I recommend this book.
I didn't LOVE it, but I didn't hate it either. I would definitely read the rest of the series and other Rick Riordan's books as I like his style of writing.

I didn't think I'd like it. Percy Jackson was just another name I would never have heard of. Rick Riordan did an excellent job creating this story and deserves 5 stars and a whole lot more readers.
