I revised my rating to 5 stars after reading it again. I remembered liking it well enough in school, but reading it again as an adult, I loved it so much more. It is such a great story. Not just one of a young girl growing up with her older brother, and all the things that concern kids, but also of what was going on all over the country at the time. I loved every word written in this book. Harper Lee wrote a true Southern American Classic. Her characters takes a slice of land and reflexes the world in many ways. Reading To Kill a Mockingbird is one of the great pleasures of living in this great land of ours.
I have read this book at least 7 times; Each time I read it I discover a new way of looking at things in the book and in the world.
This is my number one book of all time.
