Awesome! That is the way I truly feel about this book. I was very sad to see it come to an end. I wanted to read more about Abie, Skeeter and Minny. I wanted to know what happens to all the spineless white women, especially Hilly. I would love to read a second book, maybe The Help II.

I realize that many white folks didn't know any better about their behaviour towards black folks, but I still find it astonishing that humans can treat other humans so disrespectfully. Like Leroy and Minny. Like wh

I loved the three different voices in this book and felt very connected to them and their situations. I thought using this setting, black house maids, was a great way to tell this part of our American history. I learned a lot.

I really loved this story. It was well written and just made you need to know about these womens lives. I especially liked the epilogue of sorts where Stockett told about her experiences with her colored help. I know it sounds cliche but this book made me laugh and cry, sometimes at the same time! I highly recommend it to everyone.
