This book has been on TBR bookshelf for years. I bought it with the intention of reading on the Plane ride to California in 2004 since I was going to be going to Cannery Row. Yeah that didn’t end up happening and it kept moving to the bottom of the stack of books I keep on my nightstand.

Finally pushed myself to read it this year. It was good, not great. It wasn’t Of Mice and Men.
