Had no knowledge of these events at all (mass murders of the Osage Indians in the 1920's in Oklahoma). This book tells the story of the murders, the cover ups, the investigation, and how all tie in to the formative years of the FBI. Reads like a novel; hard to believe and devastating. ...more

Really interesting book about the Osage Nation and the intersection of the formation of the current FBI. I never knew about mineral and coal rights issued to the Osage and how they were administered.
