I have a great respect for Malcolm Gladwell's research and writing. Wow! Such thought provoking ideas. This is the type of information I like to discuss and share. After reading this book, I discovered that I am a maven! I love the way that Malcolm intertwines stories as examples of concepts throughout his books. This is the second book I have read by Gladwell. The first was outliers. This was a good book! But I didn’t like t as well as Outliers. This idea of tipping points is very fascinating though. What is it that makes an idea or trend catch on to the masses? He examines many situations and what brought their tipping points. He explores Connectors (those who know everyone), Mavens (those who know LOTS about specific things) and Salesmen (those who can convince others to agree). I have to admit it has ...more

I really enjoyed this book. It is so informative about how trends start which I found quite fascinating.
