What Members Thought

2018: Reread this since I hardly remembered the book at all. I listened to most of it on audio, and it was charming and enjoyable, though I think it's better on paper -- I'm less distracted.

I really liked this book. It was light and heart-warming and like a lot of books based on this time-period, it made me grateful for my life and the lack of tragedy in it. The only thing I didn't like was that the relationship that comes to be at the end wasn't developed as much as I would have liked. It kind of just got thrown in there.

I wasn't sure how I would like a book written in letter form. It did take a minute longer than other books for me to get sucked in, but I did, and I loved it.
