I enjoyed listening to this book on CD as I worked around the house. It is a fun combination of contemporary characters mixed in with Greek mythology. It took me a while to finish it because it was a little too scary for my kids to listen as they had dreams about minotaurs after one cd, so I had to listen at night. A great book for upper-elementary age boys!

Fast paced and full of adventure and peril. It's helpful to brush up on your Greek Mythology as this book revolves around the lives of the half-mortal children of the Greek Gods. It's written for children 10+, but parents beware: you may find yourself explaining why the Greek Gods have so many half-mortal children, but no mortal wives. Ugh! My husband is reading these out loud to our kids, ages 10 and 8, and has been able to "edit" some of the content.

This is a cute story about a half-blood, half human half Greek god who's been blamed for stealing Zeus' lightning bolt. Loved it and am going for the second book. So far it's a trilogy, but might be more? No idea, but it's a fun, quick, easy read.

Liked it. Didn't love it. Probably because I saw the movie first. I liked it enough to want to read the next book.
