I loved this book, and yes i understand she isn't the most original writer, but she creates likable recycled characters in a NEW WORLD. I also understand that some people are just mad because love triangles are becoming more complex and making them more of a love pentagon.

Personally this book was great but i have to recommend reading The Mortal Instruments first, or at least the first three. With all my glowing happiness from this book, i was a little disappointed that she reused the cocky, sel ...more

Terminé de releer este libro hace varios días y no he parado de pensar en él.
Venía de un bloqueo que me duró meses, así que pensé que volver a engancharme con los libros de Clare iba a ser una buena idea... Y lo fue!

I loved this book!! Totally one of my favourites!! It filled my days with happiness!
The truth is that I bought it from the bookstore just because I wasn't interested in anything else so I picked up what I saw in front of me(Clockwork Angel!!) and I don't regret it at all!!

Firstly,I would like everyone to know that I read this book more than 3 times,and I've read all the Cassandra Clare books she has ever written,but in all of those,my favorite character is William Owen Herondale.Present tense.So please,if you are in the Team Jem,you must know that I love Jem,but just not as I love Will and I love Wessa.

In the first book,Clockwork I have read this one in 2012,but the reason me doing the review right now is,absolutely because I joined Goodreads only a month ago.
Firstly,I would like everyone to know that I read this book more than 3 times,and I've read all the Cassandra Clare books she has ever written,but in all of those,my favorite character is William Owen Herondale.Present tense.So please,if you are in the Team Jem,you must know that I love Jem,but just not as I love Will and I love Wessa.

In the first book,Clockwork Angel,Wessa scenes are more,so this made me happy.I love Will being so dark but also bright,and Cassie mentions this like a hundred times in this book.And one of the chapters' name is "We Are Shadows" and the sentence under that topic was "Pulvis et umra sumus.",that means "We are dust and shadows" and if you didn't notice that,this sentence was said by Will in the book.So,we surely understand that this book is all about us knowing firstly who Tessa,Will and later Jem is,and than she makes the end bad for Will because she wants us to know that Tessa has the idea of choosing Jem too.
Will Herondale is a really sarcastic,handsome but also an emotional boy who is a full-blood Shadowhunter.On the other hand we have Jem.He is mysterious,but also so SO kind.I do like the idea of them being that opposite,but I would always choose Will,always.
I actually didn't like Magnus of this book AT ALL even though I love Magnus so much in TMI.In TID,Magnus isn't like himself and he always tries to flirt with Will and that annoyed me so badly.
I loved all the other characters just in the beginning of the book I had some trust problems with Henry I always thought he wasn't a Shadowhunter and stuff but then I learned I was wrong.

I've read TMI and TID both,but still,I think TID is more touching and emotional.I gave it a 5 out of 5 stars as you can see and in Shadowhunter Chronicles,after Clockwork Princess,this one's my favorite.
