And here we go again.
I just finished reading this book and it's undeniable that I cried a little. The ending, yes, but it was more than that. I got The Internal Devices nostalgia and this book was an avalanche of memories for me.

This book is definitely at least a 4 star rating. I might change my rating to a little higher later ... we'll see.
Anyways, that ending broke me.
The only other Cassandra Clare that made me cry was Clockwork Princess. I loved the Infernal Devices trilogy and only really tolerated the Mortal Instruments. I thought Lady Midnight was okay, and whilst this book is not perfect and has issues the ending really made me emotional.
I definitely like this trilogy (so far, 1 more book to go) much more than ...more

I don't think I can form a coherent thought because I'm a sobbing mess right now.

Okay, I feel better now! I really loved seeing all the characters from the previous books, and I found myself really invested in Julian and Emma's relationship. Also in Clary and Jace's. I felt like this was one of those books that I could have been happy with never ending. I was glad that this book was 10,000 (700) pages long. The writing was perfect. I was able to visualize everything that happened ...more
