LOVED seeing the attic scene from Will's POV. Not only do I love to see his vulnerable side but I really got a good insight into the real Will. I know he comes off as a pretentious asshole but there's obviously a reason he's so closed off. He's been hurt before in the past, perhaps? In Clockwork Angel we are introduced to Theresa Grey(Tessa). After the recent death of her aunt Harriet Tessa's older brother and only sibling Nate sends a letter that includes a ticket, telling Tessa to come to him in England. Upon her arrival Tessa learns she that she will be accompanied to London by the Dark sisters. But this is not so, Tessa is held against her will and forced to learn to use an ability she had no idea that she possessed. Tessa is a shape shifter and is now in a world she never knew exsisted. Tessa agrees to do what the Dark sisters ask in good faith that she will get to see her brother. She has no idea that the Dark sisters are training her so that she can be married and bonded to the Magister.

And that he will stop at nothing to make it happen...

My thoughts
Clockwork Angel was a rollercoaster of suspense. I very much enjoyed these characters and the storylines within. The whole idea of mechanical people was very cutting edge as well. Since robotics is well before it's time in Clockwork Angel, especially being as though this story takes place in the 1800's. Who would have thunk it?!:)

The Characters
I loved seeing my fave Warlock Magnus Bane and i look forward to more of him. I loved the dynamics btwn Will and Jem the way they need and understand eachother. I am not a love triangle fan but somehow Tessa, Will and Jem all balance eachother out. Charlotte is amazing I love that a woman is running the show, i mean who better to do the job?!;) And Henry, i loves him!!! He is a true mad genius! It is also fun to see him working on inventions that future Shadowhunter's now use. Nice touch Cassandra Clare!

This scene is one of my favorite scenes ever in Clockwork Angel. And to be told in Will's perspective (not quite) made me mad as the Hatter. But it's not because of the steamy kiss (though it is partly the reason). It's because Cassandra Clare has managed to get on my nerves. I was kind of cursing Ms. Clare after reading this scene because the sudden shift of emotions was really unbearable. I fell in love with this book and its characters. Kind Charlotte, Goofy Henry, Calm Jem, Rude, but Witty Will, Independent Tessa. It was so hard to put down, and I almost cried when I finished it, at 1:00 am. I didn't want it to end. I cannot wait to read Clockwork Prince, Clockwork Princess, and all of the the short stories .

Okay, so I've a weakness for CC and TMI as an entity. I was so waiting for this series.
Probably shouldn't have to compare it to TMI as ID is a totally different area, but still... can't help myself, sorry:)
At the beginning it was strange to read, I got myself into is slowly perhaps because it's more darker all the way than TMI.
What I loved most that characters are all charismatic, fun and complex as you already got used to with CC.
I guess that was the main thing that really got me into the story ...more
