I absolutely loved this book!

I loved this book, and yes i understand she isn't the most original writer, but she creates likable recycled characters in a NEW WORLD. I also understand that some people are just mad because love triangles are becoming more complex and making them more of a love pentagon.
Personally this book was great but i have to recommend reading The Mortal Instruments first, or at least the first three. With all my glowing happiness from this book, i was a little disappointed that she reused the cocky, sel ...more

As in the Mortal Instruments, Cassandra Clare pulls us back into the world of the Shadowhunters in Clockwork Angel. Tessa is a strong, confident young woman attempting to deal with the new found knowledge that she is not completely human and that she has a power-a power that a very powerful person wants. She gets sucked into the lives of Shadowhunters and Downworlders alike, making friends and enemies along the way.

This is the 2nd book I read written by Cassandra Clare. The 1st was The Mortal Instruments : City Of Fallen Angels and I loved it. Not because of Jace but because of Simon, Isabelle and Clary.

Having read The Mortal Instruments before, it was easy to understand the lifestyles and traditions of the Nephilim and the Downworlders. Set in the Victorian era in London, England, Clockwork Angel is magnificent in it's own way - Clare crafted the story so beautifully intriguing, with plot twists and surprises, and not to forget, action and adventure. I love how the characters aren't perfect - Tessa's tendencies to misplace her trust, Will's arrogance, Jem's detoriating health, and even Jessami

Gave this 3 stars only because it didn't capture me like Mortal Instruments did. And i am obsessed with that series. So having said that, this book was still very good and I'm hooked to read the entire series. Already bought Clockwork Prince in fact.
