"City of Ashes" is the sequel to City of Bones, and the series so far is about Clarissa Fray, a shadowhunter girl who is in the midst of a large war between Valentine and his demon horde, and the Clave, the society that keeps downworlders like vampires/werewolves and shadowhunters in order. City of Ashes is the AMAZING sequal to City of Bones please don't read this review if you HAVE NOT READ the first book....
This book is AH-Mazin'!!! It kept me turing pages til' the very end.
Since Clary's life has taken an unexpected turn toward the hidden world of monsters that go bump in the night she has had more problems than countable. With her mom in an induced coma and her evil dad with the mortal cup everything feels like a loosing end. How could things get any worse?...

I am so glad that I started reading this series after the first 3 books were written because the author left us wanting more and I was happy i didn't have to wait for the next book to be written. Again an excellent story and the charaters are lovable and you are rooting for them to make it.
