I have loved this series since I was a child, and reread it periodically. Even as an adult, The Chronicles of Narnia has not lost its magic for me. I don't subscribe to the newer published order of the series, I always reread it in the original order, so for me this is the first book in the series.

Shelves: classic, sci-fi-fanasty-dystopian

Well, I originally saw the movie by Disney before I read the book. It didn't matter however as I enjoyed the book regardless. It is the second book in the Chronicles of Narnia and argueably the best. It tells the tale of the 4 children who stumble themselves into Narnia where they become thrusted right in the middle of a conflict.
