I thought the meeting of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson was all well and good, but I thought the mystery itself was somewhat out there as far as drawing me into the tale. The novel winds along and all of a sudden, Holmes knows who-dun-it with the doer in cuffs. What the heck?

I love Sherlock Holmes, and I realized I had never read the first one. I was surprised to discover this one dealt with mormons. BEing a Mormon myself, it was pretty funny to read the outrageous and incorrect assumptions about Mormons. However, that section was a little dry and boring. With all that said, I love the personality of Sherlock Holmes.

I didn't entirely enjoy the mystery itself, but the twist in the story was amazing and I found myself blown away at the end by an amazingly in-depth story.
