What Members Thought
Was a thoroughly enjoyable satire, in the true Wilde style, and would have been a 5 star play, but for the contrived ending.
Why did the author have to feel that everything had to be connected and accounted for? ! Some ambiguity would have enhanced the play IMHO.
Nevertheless a much recommendable short play.
I listened to the Librivox recording, version 3, which thoroughly engaged me.

I've seen the play and loved it- does that count as reading it? I think so, kinda like an audio book...

Love this witty play. When life is tough, Wilde makes everything ok.
This was actually really funny. It's also supershort so you can read it in about an hour. Some knowledge of the victorian times is helpful because Wilde is using satire to the extreme (which is partly what makes is so funny)
