What a dizzying descent into the darkness of human heart! Oscar Wilde, I take my hat off for you. The vanity, the degradation of morals, the raw fear of inevitable... all come together in a splendid character that is Dorian Gray. I didn't think I'd be so swept by that ending, since the story is practically part of our culture, but the drama still managed to surprise me. ...more

Why has it taken me so long to get around to reading this? Oscar Wilde is just amazing. He had such a wonderful way with words and his characters are so entertaining.
