What Members Thought
The Time Machine is a short novella. I enjoyed the slow reveal of the future world described by Wells, and I was surprised by his political views. Worth a read if you have a free afternoon.
I enjoyed this novella. It's thought provoking and puts our day to day lives in long term perspective. The formal style of describing such emotionally harrowing situations was interesting -- the detachment probably helped make some of the situations palatable. I expect the style would be very different if it was written today.

Every bit as good as you want it to be. I was legit nervous as he was escaping the Morlocks. This book was published in 1895 & it must have blown some minds. I love all things Time Travel and this is no exception. It's a quick read too, which is a bonus. 13/1,001
